2024: Our Inaugural Year
My name is George England and I am the creator and lead instructor of SGS. I have been teaching guitar and music for 23 years, but this year is special: Sacramento Guitar School is officially open and offering group classes and lessons. Currently, we maintain a studio of in-person and online guitar students and I am pleased to announce that SGS is offering it’s first series of Adult Beginner Classes starting in May, 2024.
As our program is unfolding in stages, please stay tuned for updates to our website, classes and lessons, and news about performances and other opportunities.
What We Do
Sacramento Guitar School provides lessons and classes both online and in-person in multiple locations in the region. Our school is rooted in an individualized approach. While there are common concepts and skills that all of our students develop, we do not force a singular path. Students wishing to focus on chords to accompany singing, those aiming to begin lessons in improvisation and songwriting, or those who want to learn fingerstyle and classical guitar can all find something here.
